Women’s R.E.A.C.H. MINISTRY
SCRIPTURE: TITUS 2:3-5
Likewise, tell the older women to be reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to drink; they are to teach what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be self controlled, chaste, good managers of the household, kind, being submissive to their husbands, so that the word of God may not be disqualified.

MISSION STATEMENT: To edify Women of Bethel of all ages through a variety of activities and programs as we glorify God and enjoy His good pleasures.

VISION STATEMENT: The vision of the Women’s REACH Ministry is to provide an opportunity for every woman to use the gifts God has placed within her and help to fulfill the calling she has on her life through Bible studies, fellowship and outreach. When one is strengthened and healed both, physically, spiritually and mentally, she is able to go out and reach her family, friends, neighbors and community.
The Women’s REACH Ministry oversees the following ministries:

Children’s Ministry (Ages 12 and Under)
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6)
We desire to reach and introduce children to the love of Jesus at an early age as possible. We teach about salvation through Jesus as a result of His loving us so much He gave His life for us. To train children in Bible knowledge and truths as it pertains to everyday living. Our purpose is to come along side parents to encourage, support and assist in the process of helping our children to grow spiritually.

Teen/Young Adult Ministry (Ages 13-25)
Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believer in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in purity. (1Timothy 4:12)
The Teens and Young Adults are ministered to in age groups ranging from 13 through 25, both in fellowship, outreach, group activities, bible studies and regularly scheduled services. Special interest is placed on the needs of each of these groups to meet and deal with peer pressure, understanding others and how to develop their own personalities in light of God’s Word.

Adult Ministry (Ages 26-49)
Seek that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Ephesians 5:15-16)
It is our heart’s desire to see women transformed by Jesus Christ through life changing interaction with the Word of God and other women. We exist to worship and glorify God in all we do, to obediently seek to be more Christ-like, to minister to the women of our church and community, to evangelize and encourage other women and to nurture one another as we mature in godliness.

Senior Adult Ministry (Ages 50+)
Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green. They will declare, “The Lord is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!” (Isaiah 46:4)
The Women’s REACH Senior Adult Ministry is designed to encourage and help women who are 50 and over to participate in activities that foster, evangelism, worship, discipleship, service and fellowship. Our purpose is to meet the challenges of the present and future by empowering experienced adults to bring people to Christ, to minister to the relational head of our Church and to encourage others of all ages.

Bible Study
Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15)
The Bible Study is designed for the believer to receive an awareness of God through hearing His word, getting enrichment for our lives through discussions, question and answer sessions and to get an understanding when, how and why to apply the word of God to our daily situations.

Prayer Ministry
“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6)
The purpose of the Prayer Ministry is to lift prayers to God on behalf of the church, its members and their concerns. We pray that we may exist as a faithful and encouraging ministry of God.

Health Ministry
The health ministry provides medical advice and referral for those who are experiencing chronic or emergency medical situations. The health ministry, in conjunction with other ministries in the church, provides health maintenance seminars, information distribution regarding health disparities in our community and confidential health counseling

Singles Ministry
“You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:14-16)

The purpose of the Single’s Ministry is to see each person come into a personal relationship with Jesus and fulfill their purpose in Christ, our families, the ministry and life. We are committed to providing biblical basis for spiritual development and personal growth, as well as providing educational, recreational and social outlets.
We exist to put God’s love into action by providing mutual support for our brothers and sisters in the gospel and within our communities.

New Members Ministry consists of 3 areas:
Administration Ministry
This ministry is responsible for providing information to members concerning their profiles, classes, and any other pertinent membership information. An accurate database is maintained to provide tracking and follow-up of new members and visitors.

In-Take Ministry
This ministry is the scriptural foundation for the new members in-take ministry. It is a welcoming committee responsible for ministering salvation to first-time converts as well as praying for the restoration of returning converts.

Orientation Ministry
This ministry is responsible for overseeing the teaching of orientation classes. The orientation curriculum consists of three courses that teach the basic beliefs and doctrines of the church. It also acquaints new members with the various ministries and helps to steer them into the ministry or area of service where they will be most productive.

Tutorial Ministry
This ministry provides tutorial services from grades K-12. It is facilitated by providing spiritual, moral, and ethical values, academic enrichment in math, reading, writing and language arts. Also, test preparation workshops and other academic support are provided.

Deacons’ Ministry
Our mission is to endeavor to promote family unity by supporting one another, socializing together, and loving one another. The ministry works to improve communication, verbalize concerns, and resolve family conflicts.
The purpose of the deacon ministry is to work in close alignment with all of the other ministries to meet congregational needs and be actively involved in all church programs. We are to pray for the pastor on a regular basis and to relieve him of temporal affairs in the church. We are to visit the sick and needy members of our congregations, and should be good counselors.

Deacons’ Wives Ministry
It is the mission of the deacons’ wives to dedicate themselves to spreading the gospel to everyone they meet.
The primary purpose of the Deacon’s Wives Ministry is to be servants of God, by assisting the Pastor in the preparation of Holy Communion, and preparing candidates for the water of baptism.

Hospitality Ministry
This ministry serves as the official welcoming body for the church. They help to seek out visitors to the church and provide a point of contact for those who are visiting.

Marriage Ministry
I am my beloved’s and my beloved is mine. He feeds his flock among the lilies. ( Solomon 6:3)
This ministry is to empower and equip couples using biblical truths to strengthen them as a couple and as an individual. We will be encouragers to couples to remain steadfast in prayer and intercession; promote Christ centered marriages and to supplement our Pastor’s efforts to enhance and enrich marriages.

Media Ministry
So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”   (Romans 10:17)
Our purpose is to capture the anointing of God that is being poured out during our services in a way that does not distract or grieve the move of the Holy Spirit, or the members of the congregation. Then share that anointing with a needy world to show how Jesus is still moving in peoples lives today – moving to heal, deliver, and to set free each one that is hurting or alone, showing His love and allowing you to see “Jesus really does care about you”.
